When I first saw the "Lodge" I made a reservation for a fine single room.  Then, I went home, listed my house and came back the next day ready to move in.  I've never been sorry.  I am in my nineties, still drive my car, write a weekly article on "golf" for the local newspaper, and keep busy with chores I have volunteered to do.  My health is good and I love the other residents and the staff.  The "Lodge" is my home.

This is home for me and I love it: no complaints, not one.  I have lived in two different assisted-living homes and this is the best.  Everyone is kind to me.  It is the best place for me and it's my home.  My family is pleased and so am I.

Thank you to Bud and Carie for creating what is “Ingleside Lodge”, the place you can comfortably call home!  The ease with which the administrator and staff work their magic has you forgetting this is a “facility”.  When my grandmother first came to Ingleside, she was a feisty 92 year old, who, for years resisted the notion of moving into an assisted living facility.  Within the first month, when I asked her how she liked her new home, she sheepishly replied “I wish I had come here a few years ago”.  Because I live 100 miles from Yucca Valley, I was relieved that Gram was lovingly being taken care of by people who truly care.  My only hope is that this wonderful place is still around to hang my hat when I need assistance!

I just wanted to take a moment and commend the staff on the care that is being given to my mother Dorothy.  When she moved into the Lodge we were comforted by the clean, attractive family atmosphere, the privacy and size of her room, and of course the excellent meals.  In the past four years, as Mother’s needs have changed, I am so much more aware, grateful, and pleased with the individual care she is receiving.  Obviously every resident is different with unique needs.  Mother’s needs have posed some challenges that the staff have helped her and I be able to handle with their dignity, compassion, and yes..... even humor so we can go on enjoying life.  Keep up the very loving, excellent care.  It is greatly appreciated!
